Distilled in 2007, the whisky was treated to an experimental finish with over three years in an oloroso sherry-seasoned wine barrique that had previously held a smoky sherried Islay whisky from the A.D Rattray collection.

Nose: Black locust flower, butter popcorn and candyfloss.

Palate: Unhulled tahini, grilled pineapple and beurre blanc.

Finish: Slick passion fruit and lychee offer a delightfully different twist.

Distillery Information

Invergordon was founded in 1959 by Invergordon Distillers Ltd. It is located in the Highland town of Invergordon, which sits on the Cromarty Firth - Scotland's deepest sea loch. Production began in 1961. It is the furthest north of the six Scottish grain distilleries with the majority located in the Central Belt.
