Morrison Bowmore began producing this range of single malt whiskies in its memory, with each expression created to represent a different Scotch region with its classic characteristics. This whisky is their Lowland malt release.

McClelland's Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes

Nose: The nose is candy sweet on citrus, pineapple and some peach. But also grapefruit and some vanilla.

Palate: Candied lemon peel, hay, oats and grind ginger.

Finish: The finish is almost non-existent and tastes a bit like a white slice of bread at the death.

Distillery Information

Bowmore is a distillery that produces scotch whisky on the isle of Islay, an island of the Inner Hebrides.The distillery, which lies on the South Eastern shore of Loch Indaal, is one of the oldest in Scotland and is said to have been established in 1779.The distillery is owned by Morrison Bowmore Distillers Ltd, a holding company owned by Japanese drinks company Suntory.
