Based on Harry Hobbs' original recipe, which dates back to 1870, this gin has added orris root and lime leaf oil to the five original botanicals, although one of them still remains a family secret. Mr. Hobbs Gin is a distilled gin, meaning the final botanicals were added to the base spirit after distillation, which occurred at Foxdenton Estate distillery. Taking its inspiration from the company founder Harry Hobbs, the brand proudly places a photo of the bon viveur and gin enthusiast, equipped with his excellent beard, on its bottle.
