          Producer Information

Mud House Wine Company is a wine producer based in Marlborough, New Zealand. It is most famous for its Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc wines, but also makes wines in Central Otago, Waipara, Hawke's Bay and Gisborne. These come from a range of grape varieties, including Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Merlot. The 100-hectare (247-acre) Woolshed vineyard that serves as Mud House's estate vineyard is protected by the steep Delta hill and supplies grapes for the Single Vineyard Woolshed Sauvignon Blanc, the Mud House Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and Single Vineyard Dambuster Pinot Noir. The Mud House Single Vineyard Hungry Hill Chardonnay is sourced from another Marlborough vineyard, Hungry Hill, located in the isolated Ure Valley in the southern part of the region. Pinot Noir is the sole grape variety grown at the Claim 431 vineyard in Central Otago, while the Waipara Valley is home to the estate's Mound and Home Block vineyards, which produce Riesling, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Gewürztraminer. Accolade Wines acquired Mud House Wine Company in 2015.
