This whisky was distilled in 1971 at the Port Ellen Distillery in Scotland and was bottled in 1990 by Gordon & MacPhail. It is a single malt Scotch whisky that has been aged for 19 years. The whisky is light gold in color and has a nose of honey, toffee, and a hint of smoke. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy with notes of caramel, honey, toasted oak, and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and smooth with lingering notes of honey and toasted oak.
