The Ragged Branch Wheated Straight Virginia Bourbon, according to those behind it, is a non-age statement wheated bourbon with a mash bill that’s a mixture of 66 percent corn, 17 percent wheat and 17 percent malted barley.
Ragged Branch Wheated Vinginia Stright Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes.
Nose: Raw oak, raw grain, caramel, herbal, cocoa and. a bit of chalk and leather.
Palate: Dried apricots, leather, raw oak, raw grain, spice and a bit of chalk.
Finish: Complex spice, dried fruit, raw wood, herbal and raw grain.

Ragged Branch is a small craft distillery from Virginia that was headed up by Dave Pickerell who steered the company in the capacity of their Master Distiller.
