2005 | Chateau Bellisle Mondotte | Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Has licorice, blackberry and mineral character on the nose. Full-bodied, with very well-integrated tannins and a seamless tannin structure. Balanced and refined. Very pretty.

Producer Information

Since 1987, Château Bellisle-Mondotte has been in the hands of Jean-Marie Bouldy, who also looks after Château Grand-Pey-Lescours and Bellegrave. Based in Saint-Laurent-des Combes – just south east of St-Emilion, the 4.5 hectare excellent quality of fruit and intelligent property has been farmed organically winemaking since 2013. The majority of plantings are Merlot, with 10% Cabernet Franc.
