2017 | Pursued by Bear | Baby Bear Syrah

The 2017 Syrah is a deep, intensely coloured wine, with juicy boysenberry, fresh blueberry, wild raspberry and a ribbon of dark cocoa flavours complemented by delicate hints of olive tapenade and freshly cracked black pepper. Beautifully textured, with refined tannins and vibrant acidity reflective of the vintage, the finish is long and generous.

This medium-bodied, balanced, elegant Syrah has fine, polished tannins as well as complex notes of jammy blackberries, leafy herbs, and foresty, earthy nuances. It’s impeccably made. Drink it over the coming 7-8 years.

Producer Information

Actor and Yakima native Kyle MacLachlan launched his wine project "Pursued by Bear" with Eric Dunham beginning with the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2008, he added the "Baby Bear" Syrah to celebrate the birth of his son. These extremely limited production wines are available in select locations and here on our website for direct shipment.
