Distilled in 2017, and then aged in a single European oak oloroso sherry butt that was conditioned for two years before being sent over to the distillery to be filled with new make malt spirit.

Nose: Stewed apple, golden syrup, dried fruits.

Palate: Malty, fresh herbs, coffee, walnuts.

Finish: The finish is long and smooth, with a lingering warmth and spice. Creamy toffee, vanilla, spicy nutmeg, hints of cake mix with Christmas pudding, dates and raisins.

Distillery Information

Annandale Distillery was established in 1836, making it one of the earliest 'legal' whisky distilleries in Scotland. The Donald family lived in the farmhouse to the rear of the distillery during their time here. George, his wife Margaret, and their children, ran the distillery for almost 50 years.
