Nose: All the freshness of blackcurrant flavors, without the heaviness of the cooked fruit.
Palate: A very velvety texture and an ample, frank attack on the fruit.
Finish: A dark garnet color, very opaque to purplish.
Distillery Information
Cassis is the French word for „blackcurrant“. Crème de Cassis de Dijon is a liqueur made from blackcurrants. In France, the term „crème“ refers to a liqueur with a particularly thick consistency and a concentrated, full flavour. „Cassis de Dijon“ is a protected designation of origin for a Cassis made exclusively in Dijon in accordance with the strict regulations of the Cassis capital.
