El Cachanilla Extra Anejo tequila will have been aged at least 2 years prior to bottling in order to qualify for the "extra" label, which indicates a robust color and whiskey-like character to the normally clear and herbaceous tequila. The label indicates an association with Baja California, which we find puzzling because tequila cannot normally be produced in that region and be called "tequila."
El Cachanilla Extra Añejo Tequila Tasting Notes
Nose: Aromas of dried fruit, caramel, dark chocolate, smoky flavors, hazelnut and nutmeg.
Palate: Full bodied entry leads to perfect balance between wood and sweet notes of caramel and dark chocolate.
Finish: Long, elegant finish.
