Distillery Information

In Gaelic, Glendronach means “valley of the blackberries” and the distillery rests near Huntly in the Valley of Forgue in Speyside. Glendronach has been producing whisky since 1826. The whisky making methods used at Glendronach are still very traditional as the barley is still turned by hand on the malting floor. Renowned for its traditional whisky-making methods and rich, sherried single malts primarily using Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks sourced from Spain, which impart deep, complex flavors to the whisky. Notable releases include the 12 Year Old, 15 Year Old Revival, 18 Year Old Allardice, and the limited edition Grandeur series.
