Detailed Description
A cask-aged gin from the Greensand Ridge Distillery on the outskirts of Shipbourne. This expression is built around Greensand Ridge's London dry gin but with a slightly altered recipe - the citrus is bumped up, while the pre-existing woodsy notes are dialled back a bit. The distillers allow the gin to mature in 220 litre hogshead casks that have previously held rye whiskey for ten months, then bottle it at 40% ABV. Particularly good stuff for a juniper-y twist on an Old Fashioned cocktail.
