Killowen Barantuil White Cognac Cask Mixed Mash Bill Irish Whiskey | 375ML

This expression, which translates from Gaelic to "authentic" or "trustworthy", features the brand's own distillate. Using a flame-fed copper pot still with a worm tub condenser for the distillation, it's made from a mash bill of malted barley, unmalted barley, malted marris otter barley, oats, and wheat that is fermented with a combination of wild and cultured yeast.

Nose: Nose of golden apples, pear, and sandalwood.

Palate: The palate is slightly metallic, with a hot cinnamon candy flavor coating other elements of fruit and spice.

Finish: The finish is pleasantly funky, with a hot, spicy and smokey delivery that lingers on the tongue and throat.
