A limited Colorado bourbon built from Laws Whiskey House’s signature Four Grain mash bill of corn, heirloom wheat, heirloom rye, and heirloom malted barley. The Black & Gold Select is a five-barrel blend aged between four and nine years, bringing together mature oak character with rich grain-driven depth. Bottled at 110 proof, it offers a full-bodied profile of cherry wood, beeswax, vanilla, golden raisin, honey, orange spice tea, and almond butter.

Nose: Cherry wood, beeswax, vanilla bean, golden raisin, and warm oak.

Palate: Rich and full-bodied, with honey, orange spice tea, almond butter, vanilla, dried fruit, and layered oak.

Finish: Long and dry, with lingering honey, orange spice, toasted oak, almond, and warm baking spice.

Distillery Information

Laws Whiskey House is a Denver-based Colorado grain-to-glass distillery founded around the principle of making whiskey entirely from Colorado-grown grains. Its Four Grain Bourbon uses corn, heirloom wheat, heirloom rye, and heirloom malted barley sourced from Colorado family farms, with production, aging, and bottling carried out in Colorado. Black & Gold Select was developed in collaboration with CU Athletics and Laws founder Al Laws, with a portion of proceeds supporting Colorado student-athletes.
