Detailed Description
Named after Wild West character "Bat" Masterson, this is not a bourbon, being as it is made completely from Canadian winter wheat. But it's lovingly distilled through a copper pot still aged in new American oak, and brought to proof using pristine glacier meltwater. The result is a light gold whiskey, rich in darker flavor notes: chocolate, caramel, cookie dough, toffee, and wood. To help discover your favorite style, Masterson's also produces a 10-year straight barley and an award-winning 10-year straight rye.

Nose: On the nose, you'll discover a pleasant, slightly woody and vanilla-caramel scent.
Palate: Chocolate, caramel, cookie dough, toffee, and wood.

Distillery Information
Alberta Distillers Ltd. has since grown into one of Canada’s premiere rye producers — despite the company’s growth, however, the distillery’s local roots are still evident today. Most of the rye grains used by Alberta Distillers is sourced from farmers in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, with the farmers still delivering the grains personally by truck.
