Mendocino Spirits Captain Fletcher's Private Reserve 8 Year Old Rye Whiskey

Made from medium toasted malted rye, this 2012 distillation is flawless. Distilled in old Cognac pot stills and aged in American oak, this whiskey is as adventurous as its name sake. Captain Fletcher, a whale boat captain, sailor, and ship’s carpenter, was the first to settle Navarro, California.

Nose: Butter, chocolate, toast, malt, dried fruits.

Palate: Spice, rancio, oak, malted grains, dark chocolate.

Finish: Lingers long with dark chocolate, oak & caramel.
