Founded in 1969 by Masataka Taketsuru, the Father Of Japanese Whisky, the distillery has played a pivotal role in developing the signature blends that have allowed Nikka to rise to prominence. The whisky offers a variety of soft, fruity and floral flavors in complete contrast to Nikka’s Yoichi Distillery. These distinct characteristics have created a synergy unlike any other in Japanese Whisky and as such, Nikka has released a limited edition commemorative bottle from each distillery.
