O Reizinho White Vintage 2015 | 700ML

O Reizinho white Millésime 2015 45° rum is a premium rum from Madeira , from the 2015 harvest and bottled in January 2019. The distiller had kept a vat of white rum from this year, which he particularly appreciated.

O Reizinho White Vintage 2015 | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: "Opens with pure and clear sugar cane juice, with a hint of bagasse which leaves a pinch of ground pepper floating. The rum is clean and precise, it seems fresh, with an almost mineral character. It quickly gains momentum and begins to reveal its complexity."

Palate: "The palate is very balanced, with an intense attack of fresh sugar cane and a very oily texture which coats the palate. The cane is then detailed in all its aspects. The sweet juice which begins to ferment and takes on aromas of fresh exotic fruits, the soft fiber, the peppery bark. The round texture does not prevent the intensity and touch in the mouth, the feeling of balance persists."

Finish: "The finish is long and offers us a delicacy of cane sugar, with a round and soft vegetable juice which almost resembles steamed chestnuts."

Distillery Information

O Reizinho Distillery is ran by Pedro Ferraira and his family. It has been around since 1982 under the gudiance of Pedro's father. Though it was not a commercial operation. He distilled rum for friends and family.
