An estate-grown, 100% Blue Agave Tequila range, OCHO is produced as a collaboration between Tomas Estes (the man credited with bringing the ?rst bottle of Tequila to Europe) and renowned distillers, the Camarena family. What's really unique about OCHO is that it bears the ?rst ever 'Tequila vintage'. This 'Vintage' signi?es the exact year or harvest and location of the Agave plants that the spirit was derived from, under-lining the ?nely balanced relationship between the terroir and quality of raw materials. OCHO Reposado is rested for precisely 8 weeks and 8 days for the unparalleled smoothness and complexity which mark a truly great sipping Tequila.
Ocho Reposado - Rancho Carrizal 2008 Tequila Tasting Notes
Nose: Strong, broad floral presence on the nose along with sweet agave.
Palate: Oak accents. Initial flavors of nutty, vanilla, soft ripe agave followed by balanced fruit and acidity for smooth taste with a subtle oak presence.
Finish: Oak continues into finish with soft tannin notes and lingering agave sweetness.
