This Highland single malt from Old Pulteney is a uniquely smoky take on the Maritime Malt, having been finished in casks that previously held peated malt. Bottled at 46% abv, Huddart is named for the distillery's street address and for Captain Joseph Huddart who supplied maps and charts to the British Fisheries Society who built Pulteneytown and its harbour.

Nose: Wood smoke and honey with leather and apple notes, creamy vanilla and toffee in the background.
Palate: Ground spices and soft vanilla with peat and smoke.
Finish: Salted caramel lingering.

Founded in 1826 by James Henderson at the height of Wick's celebrated herring boom, the Pulteney Distillery is one of the most northerly Scotch whisky distilleries on the British mainland.
