Detailed Description

Rudo Anejo is crafted from 100% Weber Blue Agave, grown in Jalisco's Highlands. Produced by traditional methods involving slow baking in masonry ovens and natural fermentation without the use of chemically treated commercial yeast, Rudo Anejo is aged for 18 months in American white oak barrels, previously used in the production of bourbon, for spectacular finish.

Rudo Anejo Tequila Tasting Notes

Nose: Praline, toffee and clove aromas.

Palate: Entry is fruity with white raisins, dried pineapple, and is off-dry. midpalate is spicy, piquant, minerally, and significantly drier than the entry stage.

Finish: Spicy finish.

Distillery information

Rudo is handcrafted at the family-owned artisanal distillery from 100% Weber Blue Agave cultivated in the volcanic nutrient rich soil of the Los Altos Mountains. The distillery employs time-honored traditional methods of tequila’s elaboration. Mature agaves are first slow baked in stone ovens for up to 3 days and then the juice from the first pressing only is allowed to slow and naturally ferment for 72 to 96 hours.
