Tanqueray Sterling Vodka

Tanqueray Sterling vodka is made from pure grain spirit, distilled at high proof and carefully distilled a second time in a 220-year-old copper pot still. After the final distillation, the spirit is "cut" with water to give it the final desired 80 proof.

Distillery Information

Founded in 1830 by brothers Charles and Edward Tanqueray, the distillery was located in Bloomsbury, one of London's most beautiful areas, famous for the quality of its spring water. The timing was favourable, as in 1832 the continuous distillation method was invented, allowing the production of better quality gin.
