Cantina Sociale di Trento was born in 1956 thanks to 11 Trentino farmers who wanted to give life to the Cantina Sociale of their city. Today, as then, for us the cooperative cellar is a place in which to defend and promote the territory and its products thanks to the joining forces of those who live and work in that territory every day. The constant increase of members over the years and the quantity of grapes conferred already led in 1960 to transfer the original headquarters from Via Verdi to Via Fermi, while since 2009 Cantina Sociale di Trento is in the new structure in Via dei Viticoltori, immersed in the vineyards to the south of the city. The new Cellar is built according to sustainability criteria for a production compatible with the environment and aimed at constant qualitative improvement. The vineyards owned by the grower members are part of the large family of vineyards in Trentino and the Dolomites , they extend over an area of ​​650 hectares and are the "garden" of Trento, an integral part of the landscape of the city and a privileged place for the production of our grapes . The wine lines of Cantina Sociale di Trento are the result of the passion of its members and the desire to give shape to the product of their work: 1339, Heredia, Santa Colomba, Organic and Trentodoc sparkling wines, a concentrate of Trentino territory.
