The slightly dry Riesling from the young winemaker Philipp Lucas from the Lucashof winery in Forst is a refreshingly fruity wine. It is ideal for light cuisine, fish and asparagus.

Producer Information

The Lucashof family winery in the Palatinate was founded in the early 1960s and is now run by Klaus Lucas and his wife Christine. The family owns vineyards in the famous Forster Ungeheuer, Pechstein, Bischofsgarten and Musenhang sites, as well as in Deidesheim's Hergottsacker. The main grape variety is Riesling, which has a share of 90%. The wines are produced in laborious manual work. Lucashof has the ecclesiastical approval from the diocese of Speyer to produce mass wine.
