Angel's Envy Port Wine Barrel Finish Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Angel’s Envy is a Kentucky straight bourbon finished in port barrels and inspired by Lincoln Henderson’s lifetime spent crafting the world’s finest spirits. It’s a total return to craft first, hand blended batches of 8 to 12 barrels at a time, which we carefully taste throughout every step of the process. This would be enough for other bourbons, but they decided to take it further. That's why they finish every batch in specially-selected, ruby port wine casks for up to six months. Given the Highest Recommendation by Spirit Journal, celebrated by Whisky Advocate, The Bourbon Review and awarded Wine Enthusiast’s highest bourbon rating, Angel’s Envy is two fingers of the finest whiskey you’ve ever tasted.

Nose: Nose is full of vanilla and NYC street-cart sugar-roasted nuts.

Palate: Caramel-covered raisins dipped in maple syrup and a hint of corn is found on the palate.

Finish: The finish brings more raisins with bit of heat and sweet.

Distillery Information

Louisville Distilling started as a three-generation family affair. Lincoln Henderson was an experienced industry insider, with nearly forty years of experience at Brown-Forman as a master distiller and research fellow. His son Wesley was first CEO at a micro distillery, then a distilling consulting company.
