This single malt from Annandale spent eight years maturing. The peated Lowland whisky was drawn from an oloroso sherry butt and independently bottled up by Brave New Spirits for its Whiskyheroes series, releasing a total of 676 bottles.

Nose: Grilled peaches, Frazzles, dried herbs, charred oak.

Palate: Soft fruit cushions chilli chocolate, with meaty malt and rich peat smoke in tow.

Finish: Warming notes of pepper linger alongside smoked meat and oak.

Distillery Information

Annandale Distillery was established in 1836, making it one of the earliest 'legal' whisky distilleries in Scotland. The Donald family lived in the farmhouse to the rear of the distillery during their time here. George, his wife Margaret, and their children, ran the distillery for almost 50 years.
