Blackland Rye Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Aroma of vanilla and cracked pepper, along with leather and tobacco.
Palate: Subtle spiceniess of the rye with a slight sweetness and creaminess on the end.
Finish: A big finish of allspice, cherries and candy corn.

Blackland Distillery sources from a distillery in Minnesota that has a unique mashbill using only corn, wheat, and rye. According to Markus, this particular mashbill is going to blend well with their straight bourbon mashbill of 80% corn and 20% Triticale.
