Nose: Reminiscent of sweet aged oak/toffee/vanilla/hint of orange zest.
Palate: Caramel/dried apricot/sweet aged oak/toffee/butterscotch/rye spice.
Finish: Sweet aged oak with vanilla, a hint of bing cherry and a rye spice finish.
Distillery Information
The Boone County Distilling Company is a distillery that was originally created in Petersburg, Kentucky, in 1833, but was re-established in Independence, Kentucky, in 2015. The original distillery was a steam mill bought by William Sydner and his brother, shortly after purchase it became the Petersburg Distillery.
