Dalmunach 7 Year Old 2016 Benchmark Murray McDavid Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Creamy layers of ground nuts and milk chocolate, Malted Milk biscuits, and dates.
Palate: Fruit scones, toasted marzipan, cinnamon snaps, and juicy barley.
Finish: Buttery oak, toasted malt, runny caramel, a touch of pepper.
Distillery Information
The distillery was named Dalmunach, after a nearby pool in the River Spey, which flowed alongside. Work began in 2013 and the first spirit run took place the following year. The completed distillery was opened by the First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, in 2015.
