Nose: It has very pleasant and lovely aromas.
Palate: The palate is very powerful and complex. Smooth texture.
Finish: Great elegance and length on the finish.
Distillery Information
The Compania Licorera de Nicaragua distillery (CLDN) was established in 1937 to produce the Flor de Cana rum brand, first bottled in the late 19th century. The distillery was extensively upgraded in 1996 and is one of the most modern rum producing facilities in the world. It operates a three-column continuous still, and the aged rum is laid down for a minimum of four years in American oak casks.
