Nose: Dried apricot, fig, prune, raisin, candied orange peel, walnut, almond, vanilla, caramel, leather, tobacco, cedar, antique oak, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Palate: Dried fruits, plum, fig, raisin, caramel, toffee, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, coffee, leather, tobacco, sweet spices, and elegant oak with a rich, velvety texture.

Finish: Exceptionally long and graceful, with lingering notes of dried fruit, orange peel, vanilla, toasted nuts, leather, tobacco, spice, and mature rancio complexity.

Founded in 1851, Janneau is the oldest continuously operating Armagnac house and has become one of the region’s most internationally respected producers. Located in the heart of Gascony, the house is renowned for combining traditional continuous distillation with double distillation, depending on the style of spirit desired. Janneau carefully matures its Armagnacs in French oak for extended periods, producing spirits celebrated for their richness, finesse, and exceptional longevity.
