One is the Karuizawa 1980, distilled that year and left to mature in a single sherry cask for 35 Year, before being bottled in 2015.Two of the three bottles which make up the iconic 1980/1981/1982 Samurai Set. If you’d like to know the taste of a rare whisky from the legendary distillery, then this is your chance.

Nose: The aromas have alight fruit notes with malt and spice.
Palate: The taste almost is really just a short beginning that crescendos and transitions extremely smoothly into the finish.

Karuizawa distillery was a Japanese whisky distillery. It was located at Miyota, a town on the southern slopes of an active complex volcano, Mount Asama, in Kitasaku District, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. Established in 1955, the distillery began production in 1956.
