MouTai Prince Gold Baijiu is a premium baijiu produced by Kweichao MouTai in Guizhou Province, China. Kweichao MouTai is the most recognisable premium baijiu producer in China. MouTai Prince offers a relatively fresh, light take on baijiu spirit. The short distillation period results in a delicately fruity spirit with notes of fresh apple, pear and peach along with toasted almonds and subtle soy sauce flavours. Try as a base for your favourite fruity cocktails.

Nose: A bright, sweet estery scent with notes of white rum and tropical fruits like overripe bananas and Asian peaches. As it evolves, crisp fruits like Asian pear, lychees, and mangosteens emerge, deepening into toasted sesame, shoyu, and umami-rich flavours.

Palate: Offers a complex blend of honeyed sweetness and a gentle petrol-like edge, balanced by a crisp, tart, and slightly mineral profile.

Finish: The finish is long and mellow.

Distillery Information

Moutai has a long history. As early as 135 B.C., The “Qi Jiang Jiu” produced in the area of Moutai Town was considered a tribute to the royal family. After more than 2,000 years of development, Moutai has become an outstanding representation of baijiu, which won the gold medal at the Panama World Expo in 1915.
