Distilled from carefully selected molasses and aged for 13 years in bourbon barrels in Belize City, this rum was then transferred to Javrezac France to further age in Ferrand cognac barrels for 2 years.
Planteray Belize 2008 | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich aromas of fresh sugar cane, vanilla, honey and toasted oak, with subtle hints of tropical fruit and sweet flowers.
Palate: Explosive flavors of ripe fruit, creamy toffee and roasted nuts, with a velvety texture and spicy notes of black pepper and cinnamon.
Finish: Long, warm finish, with lingering flavors of toasted oak, dried fruit and dark chocolate.
