Pol Roger only produces the Brut RosĆ© in the finest vintage years. The wine is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay vinified blanc from 20 Premier and Grand Crus in the Montagne de Reims and CĆ“te des Blancs regions. The remaining 15% is Pinot Noir that has been vinified āen rougeā and then added to the final blend prior to the second fermentation.

Pol Roger Brut Rose Vintage 2012 Champagne Tasting Notes
Nose: A deep salmon pink color with a fine stream of small bubbles. The nose has aromas of ripe fruits with elements of citrus fruits (blood orange), pomegranate and small wild red berries.
Palate: On the palate, a deep mineral character fine, creamy ripeness and a hint of vanilla. The wine is tender and smooth with a balance of delicate freshness and refined elegance.
Finish: A discreet vinosity with a clean and precise finish.
Distillery Information
Founded in 1849, Pol Roger is one of only a few Grande Marque Champagne houses that remains family owned and operated. Having among the deepest (100 feet below ground) and coolest (48Ā°F) cellars in Champagne provide perfect conditions for the āprise de mousseā (the development of the Champagne in bottle and the āfinesseā of the ābeadā or bubble) and for the long-ageing of the Champagne in bottle. All of their Champagnes are aged longer than the legal requirement to add more complexity and fine bubbles in every bottle.
