This rare and collectable Hakuhsu Sherry Cask 2012 single malt was distilled at the “forest distillery” and matured in a selection of the finest sherry casks available before being bottled and released as a limited edition in 2012. It brings a range of rich fruity notes to the otherwise refreshing, crisp and clean spirit.

Nose: The aromas have alight fruit notes with malt and spice.

Palate: Smooth and soft with good sweetness and winter spice.

Finish: Finish is long, spicy and smooth.

Distillery Information

Hakushu distillery is a Japanese whisky distillery. It is owned by the Suntory group, and situated in the Toribara locality of the former town of Hakushu, in the Yamanashi Prefecture, Chubu region, Japan. The distillery was established in 1973, in the forest on the slopes of Mount Kaikoma.
