Nose: Gingerbread cake, honeyed apples, cinnamon, dates.

Palate: Chocolate chip cookies, squidgy sultanas, a touch of dark chocolate growing underneath.

Finish: Cinnamon once again, with brown sugar and vanilla pod.

These little rascals are much smaller than your standard butt cask, which makes for a hugely increased surface area to volume ratio, yielding maximum richness and depth.
