Born in Japan. Bred in Scotland. Enjoyed by an increasing number of people, Firkin Whisky Company is a fresh approach to single malt whisky. Everything about The Firkin Whisky Company, from the name to the tasting notes, is different. Firkin is a tad zany, and just a bit mischievous. Firkin Whisky Company is about enjoyment, being self-effacing and poking good-natured fun at some of the more pretentious malt stuff out there. After all, life’s too short to be serious. Life is for seriously good whisky. But the whisky itself is no joke. Made by Mike Collings, who throughout his 40 year career has made some of the biggest names in whisky including Johnnie Walker Blue and the Classic Malts range, these are superb single cask whiskies. Each release is aged in a double-wood cask custom made for Firkin Whisky Co and seasoned with a specially-chosen 'soul mate' fortified wine.
