3 huge stars, therefore, have joined forces to create a domain in the Spanish or Catalan Priorat . Initially, it was called the Trio Infernal , but they were joined in the adventure by two local winemakers and is now called the Infernal . The 8 hectare vines cling to a steep and poor slope. The wines are mono-varietal and come from traditional Carignan and Grenache. Syrahs were also planted. The RIU cuvée is a blend of three grape varieties. If the power dominates, the balance is found thanks to the cool nights and the schist terroir which brings acidity and concentration. The wines of the Infernal are a call to new discoveries in the Priorat.
