It has been in the same family since it was acquired by Jules Charoulet in 1873 and is now run by the Masson family, whose name came to the property through mariage. The majority – five hectares (12 acres) of Saint-Georges (Côte Pavie)'s vineyards on the southwest-running spur, around the château building. As implied by the name, the property borders the well-known Château Pavie, which also lies on the slope immediately to the southeast of Saint-Georges.
