This new Metiusco is presented in the glass with an intense and brilliant garnet red color. On the nose ample hints of ripe cherry, Mediterranean herbs and spices. In the mouth it is warm, intense, juicy.

Producer Information

The Casa Vinicola Palamà is based in Cutrofiano in the province of Lecce in Salento, and was founded in 1936. From its birth the winery sold bulk wine until Cosimo Palama decided at the beginning of the 90s to start investing in bottling the wine . The Salento company's brand began to grow to become one of the best wineries in Puglia. The wines are obtained from native Apulian vines grown as espaliers or saplings: Negroamaro, Primitivo, Malvasia Nera, Malvasia Bianca and Verdeca, are vinified alone or in blends. Ninì and his family personally take care of the vineyards, harvesting and winemaking. The winery produces various lines of wine such as 'Albarossa' 'Metiusco' 'Mavrò' and 'Fregi Barocchi'.
