Palate: It displays a robust middle palate, with flavors of pitted plum, dried apricot, quince and vanilla.

Distillery Information

Artez has a small production (about 40,000 bottles per year) from only 12 hectares of certified organic vineyards in the western part of Bas Armagnac, and aged in Monlezun black oak from Artezā€™s own forest. Here, in the so-called ā€œGolden Triangleā€ (also known as Grand Bas-Armagnac) the sandy, iron-rich soils, called sables fauves, are often said to produce the finest eaux de vie in the entire appellation.
