One of two single casks from 1986, released as part of Batch 13 from BenRiach distillery. A peated single malt Scotch whisky, aged for 30 years and finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead #3183. A small release of 307 bottles, filled in 2016 at cask strength, 55.6%.

Nose: Rich molasses pours over sweet dates and dried prunes with a subtle, smoky herbal back note.
Palate: Dark chocolate and brittle toffee floods over rich dates and malt loaf. The peat smoke builds gradually, balancing off with a crisp, floral oak finish.
Finish: A crisp, floral oak finish.
Distillery Information
The BenRiach distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in the Speyside area of Scotland. It is currently owned by Brown-Forman Corporation after being purchased on 1 June 2016 as a subsidiary from the BenRiach Distillery Company Limited, formed by two South African funding partners, Geoff Bell and Wayne Keiswetter, and Scotch whisky expert Billy Walker.
