Dalmore Constellation 1990 21 Year Old Cask 18 Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Dalmore Constellation Collection brings together the complete spectrum of vintages from the years 1964-1992 for the very first time. Created by Master Distiller Richard Paterson, this collection of single casks is highly sought after by collectors around the globe. Distilled in 1990 and matured in a single American white oak cask for 19 years before being transferred to an Oloroso sherry cask for two years, this Highland single malt was bottled at a strength of 56.5% abv.

Nose: A splash of gold with a field of sun-kissed barley.

Palate: Bergamot, cape gooseberries, white linen and honeyed pear. Scents of apple tarte tatin, vanilla pods, peach syrup and sandalwood give way to grape pulp, oakmoss, ginger and crêpe suzette.

Finish: Sweet mangos, panna cotta, glacé cherries and banana. Hints of breakfast muesli, moist lemon cake, and tropical fruit salad follow with a final aftertaste of Victoria plums, nectarines, ginger spice and walnuts.

Distillery Information

"The Dalmore" Distillery is located in Alness, which is 20 miles North of Inverness. It sits on the banks of the Cromarty Firth overlooking the Black Isle, the "big meadowland", from which it takes its name.
