Good Old Times Cigar Tasting Notes

Nose: Sweet, underdeveloped corn and ethanol. damp crates and sawdust. Impressions of vanilla, cinnamon sugar, brown sugar, and nondescript wood. Dried up pancake cyrup.

Palate: Thin and brazen. Roasted con, light brown sugar and faint caramel. Cheap chocolate and vanilla drying on cardboard. vague, drying wood note.

Finish: Ethanol heat matched by yeasty corn. Maybe hints of smoke or char, but its all heat on the throat at the expense of actual flavor.

Distillery Information

Good Times is a brand of whiskey produced by the Three Boys Farm Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. Founded in 2013, the distillery is located on a 122 acre farm, and is family owned and operated. For the Good Times brand, they don’t actually use their own whiskey. Instead, they import spirits distilled at the Indiana-based MGP facility, age them in unique or interesting ways, and then bottle the results under their own label.
