Rock Hillrock Double Cask Rye Whiskey is a limited edition spirit that is a blend of two different whiskies. The first is a rye whiskey that is distilled from a mash of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, and is aged in new, charred American white oak barrels. The second is a Rye whiskey that is finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, which adds a layer of complexity and depth to the whiskey. The whiskey is bottled at 114.7 proof. Rock Hillrock Double Cask Rye Whiskey is a unique and delicious whiskey that has an aroma of toasted wood, dried fruit, sherry, and rye spice. On the palate, the whiskey is smooth and complex with notes of dried fruit, spice, oak, and sherry. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of sweetness. Rock Hillrock Double Cask Rye Whiskey is a great whiskey to sip neat or on the rocks.
