Y'see, Loch Lomond manages to produce an impressive variety of whisky styles, and they released them under various names so people know what they're getting into. They have a very versatile still set-up at the distillery – so versatile that it almost seems like magic how they're able to produce all that different whisky. Almost. Batch 6 is a release of 779 bottles. ‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Nose: Zingy fresh on the nose, lemon peel and lime juice, with black pepper and chillis.

Palate: Aromatic smoky spices dominate with sweeter vanilla and toffee notes.

Finish: Sweetness continues until the end with coconut plus some pungent lingering spices.
