A 40-year-old Jura single malt bottled by Douglas Laing for its Xtra Old Particular range. Aged for over four decades in a single refill barrel, this elegant old whisky has a sweet and spicy character. The nose gives aromas of vanilla, tobacco, spices and toffee. The palate is delightfully gingery, with a long finish of molasses, smoke, spices and toasted oak.
