This bottling was made for the Scotch Whisky Research Centre’s inaugural Whisky Festival in Kyoto on February 22, 2011. It is a rare collector’s item, with a wonderful label.
Kyoto Whisky Fair 2015 – Blair Athol 1991 22 Year Old Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: The aromas have alight fruit notes with malt and spice.
Palate: The taste almost is really just a short beginning that crescendos and transitions extremely smoothly into the finish.
Finish: Finish is long, spicy and smooth.

Blair Athol Distillery is a distillery in Scotland that distills Blair Athol single malt whisky. It is used in Bell's whisky, and is also normally available in a 12-year-old bottling. The distillery is located on the south edge of Pitlochry in Perthshire, near the River Tummel.
